The Arbequina Olive
Found mainly in the Catalonia region of Spain, the arbequina is the only olive used to create Gasull Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Flowering in the spring, only 1 to 3% of these small white flowers will develop into olives. Thru the summer growing season thses fruits transform from a light green color, to a reddish purple, and then deep black when ready for harvest.

Hand picked each day in the months of November and December, these olives are delivered to the Gasull mill in Reus and cold pressed that same day of harvest.

Cold pressing and only 100% ripe arbequina olives ensure the unique qualities that make Gasull Extra Virgin Olive Oil a truly distinctive and remarkable oil.
